Kuigang Group, formerly known as Qingdao Kuigang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd., was established in 1986. Its main focus is on providing power supply, control, and auxiliary braking systems for high-speed trains, intercity trains, urban rail vehicles, and other sectors. It provides product support and supply for railway passenger car companies such as CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd., Pangbadi, and Passenger Car Repair Company; The main products include: vehicle under car electrical and control boxes, Wanke wiring terminals, Amphenol connectors, Parker pneumatic components, PMA hoses and accessories, composite grounding products, Locke sealing frames, etc.

Kuigang Group currently has multiple branches including Qingdao Shensheng Rail Transit, Qingdao Anjie, Kuigang Tielong, Zhengzhou Jiande, Zhengzhou Ruiyang, Chengdu Shengxian, etc. It has diversified its layout in the rail transit industry and formed a strong camp. The company currently has about 300 employees, including more than 50 technical personnel in design, process, quality control, etc., 15 production management personnel, more than 50 product procurement and sales personnel, and more than 70 certified production personnel. The group company has passed ISO9001 quality system certification, its wholly-owned subsidiary Qingdao Shensheng Rail Equipment Co., Ltd. has passed ISO14001 environmental quality system certification, EN15085 welding quality system certification, IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard Certification), Qingdao Kuigang Tielong Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. has passed environmental management system certification, ISO9001 quality management system certification, and occupational health and safety management system certification, its controlling subsidiary Chengdu Shengxian Rail Equipment Co., Ltd. has passed Zhongtai certification for quality management system certification and Company Certification for welding of railway vehicles and components, and Zhengzhou Jiande Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd. has passed ISO9001 quality management system certification.

In 2018, the construction of the Shensheng New Factory, a Qingdao production base with a total investment of 323 million yuan, began. The new factory is located in the core of the "World High Speed Rail Town" in Chengyang District, Qingdao, adjacent to leading rail transit enterprises such as CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd., CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd., and Bombardier. The total construction area is 31240.18 square meters, and it is a modern industrial park integrating multiple independent buildings such as office buildings, mechanical/electrical workshops, testing workshops, and logistics warehouses. On July 31, 2020, the new factory area of Shensheng was officially put into operation. Shensheng Rail is the first enterprise in the world's high-speed rail town rail transit high-end supporting industrial park to be put into operation.
